For this project, I wanted the subject to be immersed like a baby in a womb. However it was challenging because I didnt know how to make this technically. I used a translucid paper, usually used for lighting. This is for the reborn aspect For exposing the oversexualisation of the black male body, I asked a good friend of mine to be my model and just stand still. I wanted the simplicity to come through.
I processed my film rolls in the colenta at LG myself, for the second time and it did come out ok.
