the edit of the raw was quite a long process . I didn’t realise it that it was going to be that long and that heavy specially when we first shoot.
i used première pro as usual but I had to do the whole edit myself so I thought about adding new skills to my hand specially in color correcting, masking, and LUT! To be honest, I didn’t know a lot of things only the basic.
i feel like with this project I got to explore more the concept of color correcting but more importantly I got to explore my style and what kind of tone I wanted for the pictures
from what I gathered the first step is to give back life to your images. As shooting raw results in a blend no contrast no color type of image to work just like on a blank canvas, it’s better to start with just basic contrast and tone.
when you are done with that, you can then add the LUT, which the style of the image that you want. I really loved that process
