EPISODE 4: THE INTERVIEW (2)

SHOOT PAPA WAS A ROLLING STONE

As I previously said, one of the most important purpose of this serie and its first episode is to add nuances to stereotypes or preconceived ideas around black masculinity. This concept has suffered from many opinions and statements on how the black man should be and behave.
Being a later 90's kid, I feel that the concept hasn't found new grounds since the arrival of Hip & Hop and R&B. This shoot aims to present a black man, searching for his roots through the glamourous 70's era.
He uses femininity codes to emphazise his manly sexiness.
